ROSE WINDOW

Feminine moon cycle above, masculine sun cycle below; woman/man, yin/yang. The heart of a rose at center, circled by creatures living in a hamlet in the French Pyrenees.

The design is derived from the Rose Window at Chartres, reduced from 16 sections to 8.

ON MANDALAS
